There are thousands of people just minutes from our church campus whose lives would be radically different and significantly improved if . . . they came to know the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the Lord wants to use us to reach as many people as possible. Wouldn't you like as many people as possible to know, love and serve Jesus in the same way you do? What a joy it will be to see new people come to Jesus and to confess Him as Lord in Baptism. This has been a great year for New Life, but what about 2020? There are lots of new friends we need to make. How cool will it be to see some great new people find their place as part of the New Life family. This Christmas Offering will go a long way towards making the new year the best fruitful year we have ever seen.
2.BUILDING UPDATES: Repair & Repaint the Children's Building
Exterior & Install Much Needed Handrails on the Auditorium Stage
& Baptistry
Don't you think it's about time to replace the rotten wood on the outside of the Children's Building
and repaint it? It would be so much more inviting to our many new guests. Also, it would be great
to add some handrails to the stage & baptisty since. Well, your generosity can make that happen and Hilda will be soooooo grateful . . . . and even Pastor Robert . . . . and possibly even Zach.
3.BENEVOLENCE: Helping Hurting People & Meeting Special Needs Locally
Even in an area like Olive Branch, there are plenty of hurting and hungry people. Many people are just one paycheck away from financial disaster. The loss of a job, an unexpected illness or accident, a tragic divorce . . . any of these can put someone in a desperate situation. This year we are once again partnering with the Olive Branch Food Ministry to help those who are hurting. The Christmas Offering will enable us to make a cash donation to them and to be able to say "Yes" to other special needs that we become aware of in the coming year.
4.WORLD MISSION: Participating in Global World Mission & The Great Commission
The command of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is to make disciples of all nations. The open doors and mission opportunities that our spiritual family has are amazing. We have the awesome privilege to be joined together in covenant relationships with leaders & churches around the globe. These brothers and sisters are laboring to see Christ made known and the Kingdom of God expanded in their own countries. Your gift to The Christmas Offering make it possible for us to do a little something extra for them. We as church give a tithe for World Mission to Covenant Leadership Institute on a monthly basis. A portion of The Christmas Offering will be invested in World Mission that is over and above our regular giving as a church. Your generous and sacrificial giving will be a great blessing to these great leaders.

As part of God's plan to grow our faith as His people, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. The Christmas Offering is an opportunity for us to grow in our faith and to prepare us for what God wants to do through our church in 2019. This offering is not because we are behind on budget, but rather is to position us to make a greater impact in our community, in our church and around the world in the coming year. 1.On Sunday, December 22nd there will be a special moment as part of the Christmas Worship Celebration Service that you can bring your Christmas Offering and place it in the crib in the Manger that will be set up. Many people find this to be a very moving worshipful experience.2.You Can Automate Your Christmas Offering Giving by completing the enclosed "Automated Giving Enrollment Form". Just indicate how much, how often, and for how many weeks you would like to invest in The Christmas Offering.
3.You Can Give Online Anytime.
4.You can give during the Sunday Morning Worship Celebration using the special Christmas offering envelope.
5.You can give with your debit/credit card using your regular offering envelope and indicate that it is for the Christmas offering.
